In game one an unfortunate injury to first baseman Matt Rockey in the third inning had the scrambling. Poor coaching had the Lake house mercy ruled by the 4th inning, play continue and the fish were able to score 4 runs in the fifth inning. The runs instilled some confidence in the team, although they end the game 25 to 6.

The Lake House team took there moment and the opportunity given by the weekend warriors to maintain a very close game. Until the 7th inning, when the bats of the Weekend Warriors found new life. in the bottom of the 7th all the Lake House responded back with was only 1 run. The fish lost 15-10

Next Opponent
The Slackers at Berlin Large field, As far as standings are concerned both LH and The slackers have had a uphill battle. The battle not to finish in last place is on.

Coach Thoughts

I coached a bad game and as far as pitching was concerned, I walked to many in the first game trying to put the ball in the right place. Then there were some changes I should have made that would have improved our chance of winning. Even with the minimum amount of players, I could have done more to help. I think not taking advantage of opportunities was the downfall for Lake House and I take the blame for that. I feel like I am not letting my team have fun and I am made poor decisions stripping them of the chance to win.
